Job Telecommunications Network Engineer, Albury

We at Civitech Solutions are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Telecommunications Network Engineer to join our rapidlygrowing and innovative team.

You will design, implement, and maintain our telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network architecture, routing & switching, and telecom systems, with a passion for delivering exceptional connectivity solutions.

• Design, configure, and maintain telecommunications and data networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VoIP systems.
• Plan and implement network upgrades, expansions, and security enhancements.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Manage network capacity planning and optimization for maximum efficiency
• Provide technical support for telecom systems, including PBX, SIP, and unified communications.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and internal teams for project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare network documentation, diagrams, and reports.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Skills:

• 3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or Telecommunications Engineer.
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (VLAN, STP, QoS).
• Experience with telecom systems such as VoIP, SIP, MPLS, and optical fiber networks.
• Strong knowledge of network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
